Prestige Builders

October 10-11, 2007
550 Hawthorne.
There has been no building permit issued for this lot. In violation of Elmhurst municipal ordinance 44.126 and zoning ordinance 4.2-4f, it has been used for storing trucks, trailers and building materials on and off for over a year by it's owner.

This condition still exists on an irregular basis. The builder lives across the street at 551 Hawthorne. The following three pictures show various vehicles stored at this vacant lot in violation of City Code.

These two trucks were stored on this jobsite for over a month. Repeated calls to the building department and the police accomplished nothing.

This violation corrected itself after 5 weeks passed when the trucks were no longer needed.

This truck sure makes the rounds. Here it is illegally parked for days on the parkway.

The police ticketed this truck daily for three days, but it didn't move. $75 for luxury parking while the tree roots get crushed.
